Description
A 7-year-old female is suffering from anaphylaxis, a life-threatening allergic reaction, requiring specific medications and oxygen supplementation to manage her condition. Additionally in the advanced version, there will be further complications and the tongue will swell, making airway management difficult.
Learning objectives
- The objective will be to practice the recognition and management of anaphylaxis. The user must learn how to think and act under pressure while making time-sensitive decisions. It will be critical to learn the right priorities and understand effective care beyond intramuscular adrenaline.
