Oxygen Escape Room
Description
This escape room will test the student’s understanding of incomplete and complete combustion and reaction balancing. The student will carry out decomposition reactions using the Bunsen burner to produce the required substances.
It is recommend to play the Reaction Balancing module first.
The student will learn about: conditions for incomplete and complete combustion, balancing a chemical reaction for the complete combustion of ethane, decomposing substances using the Bunsen burner.
Prerequsites
Can gather information from a molecular formula. Can explain how reaction equations work. Can balance simpler reaction equations. Understands the 3D model of a molecule.
