Slinger
Description
Slinger / Signaller is a Virtual Reality training aid and competency assessment experience for Slinger / Signallers. The user can use VR hand controllers to demonstrate the correct signalling to perform a lift. The end-to-end experience was designed to test practical and theoretical knowledge through a four-stage process:
- Pre-lift knowledge check
- Undertake a test lift and practice/refresh hand signals
- Undertake a real lift to reposition a load – including an emergency stop
- Post-lift theory check
