Description

Designed by cancer researchers, Dr Ken Dutton-Regester (Excite Science) and Dr Elke Hacker (QUT), in partnership with Real Serious Games, we wanted to use virtual reality to teach people about cancer in a memorable and immersive way. When a metastatic skin cancer suddenly appears in the lung, it’s up to you to use chemo, targeted and immuno-therapies to kill cancer. Will you be able to control cancer?

Learning objectives

Engage the learner to further explore the causes and preventions of skin cancer and actively improve their lifestyle to avoid the environmental conditions that cause skin cancer
Increase awareness of the consequences of skin cancer
Provide a basic understanding of the effect, at cellular level, of chemotherapy, targeted therapy, and immuno therapy treatments on both cancer cells and immune cells
